About

DSC_0256Welcome! My name is Kelli and I am passionate about the big idea of  THE STORY, in all its forms. I am a speech pathologist who enjoys the stories within books, movies, music, photography and traveling. I especially delight in recognizing THE STORYTELLER’s presence in these passions. I am the mother of three and wife to a longhorn cattle rancher living in southeast Kansas. More than anything else, I long to live a good story, to the glory of my Creator, Author and Storyteller.

  1. You forgot to add that your are an amazing friend with a heart of gold! You never flinched during our training for the 1/2 marathon and I am so proud of you for stepping up to another challenge. I miss you friend ❤

  2. I know your comments are closed on the legging post, but I just wanted to say how you nailed it!!! And now I am adding your blog to my reader so I can come back here and read more of your awesomeness!

  3. In the midst of the ‘leggings’ maelstrom, it must’ve been hard to find positives. Here’s one: me! Without that post, I’d never have stumbled upon your blog and discovered someone who could easily be my twin. (check my Pinterest site!) I applaud your courage in entering the blogosphere-my stories are currently stuffing a couple of big ‘TrapperKeepers’ 🙂 You are now my FIRST blog ever to follow. Looking forward to reading your thoughts in the future!

      1. google search Jeannie Schmidt on Pinterest, http://www.pinterest.com/kraftig/ My boards are more for personal usefulness. Day-to-day ramblings are more present on FB and my faith is very obvious there. btw, just incorporated one of your Mad. L’Engle quotes into a study on Romans I’m leading. Thanks!
